Katty English Books stemmed from two English school owners who felt dissatisfied with a the lack of English learning resources. Drawing from their 25 years of combined experience teaching English in Asia, they have meticulously developed books that bring both immense enjoyment and practicality. These books have been extensively tested and refined in classrooms for over a decade.

Meet The Team
Tom McEvoy
WRITER
Tom is an English school manager with over 12 years of teaching experience. Hailing from Ireland but based in Japan, he has an abundance of experience teaching both kindergarten and elementary school students. With years of lesson planning under his belt, he incorporates fun and inventive ideas that can be seen throughout these books.
Tim St Jean
WRITER
Tim is originally from Canada and now resides in Japan. He has made a significant impact in Asia over the past 15 years with extensive teaching and management experience in schools across Japan and China. He brings a wealth of high energy and diverse expertise into the classroom, which is reflected in the content of Katty English Books.
Phil McEvoy
DESIGNER
Phil is based in Ireland and is a brilliantly gifted artist and graphic designer whose attention to detail, out-of-the-box aesthetic, and imaginative wit have enabled him to work with several international advertising firms. As a true master of his craft, his work has been shown around the world and he is undoubtedly the all-star of the Katty English Books team.
